Aaaaa-CHOO!

(okay, so that's not me, but I DO have those tissues)

I have spent a lovely week here at home, with bouts of violent sneezing being broken up by my burrowing my way out from under piles of tissues and coughing so hard that I actually felt my brain ping. And to make it all the better, today reached a beautiful temperature of 43 degrees (that's Celsius, for those of you not using that system) - we've been hovering around that all week so it's just icky all over.

Needless to say, this week (and last week's I-feel-a-cold-coming-on lead up) has been less than productive - as can be seen by my lack of reviews of late. I've managed to finish my book for book club next week (Middlesex) so at least I'm on schedule there. And as soon as my head stops spinning I'm planning on getting caught up again.

So anyways, just checking in, and now I'm off to continue sneezing.

Ugh, I just got over having the funk (I think I gave it to hubby :( Poor guy was running a temp last night). Hope you feel better soon!

BookPSmith and Ladytink - I think the end is in sight, I actually stood up this morning without falling over, and wandered away from my box of tissues for more than a minute with no catastrophes - big events in my little flu-ridden world

that flu had better be gone for bookfreaks otherwise who will keep us on track and do all the cool graphs and such-like?!

Feel better soon! The flu is absolutely the worst. Talk about having aches all over!

I'm practically pining for 43 degrees right now. I was not cut out to be walking around in -7 degree (Fahrenheit) weather. The last time it got this cold here I was 12 or something ridiculous like that.

Wendy: I'm actually starting to feel a little better - left the house today and everything, I think I'll be a-ok by next week. Lucky huh, cause no one is as good at making dodgy rainbow graphs :)

Jessica: Wow, that temperature sounds great right about now. I'm more than happy to trade places.
